About

Old School House

The schoolhouse, along with the cottages, village hall and church were rebuilt in 1868 by Harman Grisewood for his tenants. Constructed in local stone, the buildings are architecturally decorative, heavily influenced by the Tudor Gothic style. Just a stone’s throw away from Daylesford Organic Farm, the cottages overlook the rolling hills of the estate. Each self-contained cottage is individually furnished, retaining its own distinct character.

Dine Out

Daylesford is our working farm, try a botanical cocktail or perfectly crafted coffee at The Legbar, seasonal sharing plates and wood-fired pizzas at The Old Spot, and discover our Michelin Green Star restaurant, The Trough, where you can enjoy dishes made with fresh organic produce picked just a few steps away.

Each of our pubs capture a unique spirit and character; a chance to escape the everyday, and experience award-winning menus that evolve with the produce of the seasons sauced from local growers, farms and producers.
