Our Farmhouses

Our farmhouses and Cotswold houses provide an escape from the everyday to retreat with friends and loved ones. If you are looking for a secluded stay with views across the rolling Cotswold hills, or a generous space to host a celebratory reunion, whatever the occasion, our larger properties provide all you need for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Old House

Entirely surrounded by a private walled garden, Old House is ideal for a multigenerational stay. Our converted farmhouse is full of character, and spacious with a generous kitchen and open plan dining area.

There is an abundance of activities on our doorstep, for grownups and children alike. After days spent exploring, retreat to twin beds tucked away in the attic bedroom providing the perfect place for late night storytelling and dream making, while grownups gather around the open fire downstairs.

Bike rides

Borrow bicycles and helmets during your stay and explore the picturesque Cotswold villages and country lanes.

Craft workshops

Learn a new skill with our exciting and diverse calendar of events. We offer classes on everything from calligraphy, painting and botanical screen-printing, to garden design, spoon carving and henkeeping.

Pub garden

On warmer days venture over to The Bell in Charlbury and linger over a drink and wood-fired pizza in the rolling orchard garden. Enjoy outdoor games, and adventures by the trickling stream running along the bottom of the bank.

Picnics

With over 2,500 acres of organic farmland to explore, follow the signposted walks for rambles around our farm and the surrounding Cotswold countryside, and enjoy a picnic along the way.

About

Old House

Tucked away down a private lane in the heart of Kingham, Old House, originally a farmhouse, was built in the late 17th century and remains full of character, surrounded by its own walled garden. 

Our in-house team of architects remodelled much of the building from restored and reclaimed materials. Old house bears the unique marks of craftsmanship applied over the course of centuries, and by stripping back generational layers of plaster, the original framework of the building was celebrated.

Daylesford is our working farm, try a botanical cocktail or perfectly crafted coffee at The Legbar, seasonal sharing plates and wood-fired pizzas at The Old Spot, and discover our Michelin Green Star restaurant, The Trough, where you can enjoy dishes made with fresh organic produce picked just a few steps away.
