In the colder months, crackling log fires create a welcoming refuge; in summer, the expansive orchard garden becomes a natural gathering place for families and friends – the perfect setting for long lunches and unhurried afternoons in the sun.

The menu combines a selection of hearty pub classics with ingredient-led dishes. Produce comes from local suppliers and independent British growers, as well as from our sister farm at Daylesford.
DRINK
Settle into large inglenook fireplaces or tuck yourself into our Snug, a quiet corner behind the bar. Dogs can curl up by the fire and we have board games to keep families entertained.

Our rooms are individually designed, drawing inspiration from the neighbouring ancient woodland. The interiors preserve the heritage of the pub while rooms offer all the comforts of a nurturing stay: the finest linen sheets, organic cotton bath robes and towels, and botanical bath and body products.

As the name suggests, some of our smaller rooms are perfect for couples, offering a cosy atmosphere. Filled with natural light, each room combines excellent mattresses, sumptuous bed linen and cloudlike pillows.
Classic Room

Our classic rooms are a combination of antique pieces sourced from around the world, bespoke and furniture reupholstered with vintage fabrics and the most comfortable super king size beds. Our Classic Barn rooms are dog friendly.
Spacious Room

Our largest rooms are located in the oldest part of the 17th century pub, either overlooking Church Street or nestled in the eves. Each characterful room retains many of its original features. Super king size beds provide the utmost comfort.
Twin Room

Tucked away in the eves of the pub, our twin room features single four-poster beds with playful gingham checks. These exceptionally comfortable beds cocoon guests in the signature Daylesford palette of natural tones.
All our pub rooms have the finest linen sheets, organic cotton bath robes and towels, as well as mattresses, toppers and pillows of the finest quality.

Spacious and versatile, the converted barn opens out onto the garden and is available for private hire.

While away afternoons playing games under the trees and enjoy food and cocktails into the evening. We serve delicious seasonal sourdough pizzas from our wood-fired oven.
