Designed by our architects and built by a team of local craftspeople, Heritage House takes inspiration from its tranquil setting within our market garden and the rolling countryside beyond.
Nature informs the space. Expansive windows frame sweeping views out to the fields, inviting the landscape in throughout the seasons.
Three versatile, dynamic spaces can be opened up to reveal elegant high ceilings and sweeping proportions, or enclosed for a more personal, intimate setting.

Heritage House has been designed to look like a series of agricultural buildings that have developed and evolved organically. Each space opens out onto the market garden, where most of what is prepared in the kitchen and served to your guests has been grown or produced just metres away.
This closeness to the land shapes not only the setting, but the experience itself.
The largest and most versatile of our three spaces is perfect for standing drinks receptions, large-scale banquets and lively post-dinner celebrations. The Ox Barn can be divided into smaller spaces for different configurations, allowing you complete flexibility depending on the scale and style of your event.
Crafted from local Cotswold stone in a traditional high-ceilinged barn style, The Dovecote features striking glass doors that open directly onto the market garden. It is particularly well suited to workshops, presentations and gatherings requiring theatre-style seating.
A light, airy space situated between The Dovecote and The Ox Barn, leading out to landscaped gardens with stunning views. Ideal for welcoming guests with arrival drinks and refreshments.
From abundant feasts to refined plated dining, each menu is thoughtfully tailored to your occasion.
The market garden and organic farmland are the heart of everything we do at Daylesford and our culinary team leans on its bounty, transforming produce into vibrant, seasonal dishes. Menus are guided by what is at its peak; full of flavour, colour and vitality.
Our team of wine enthusiasts can advise on the best vintages to pair with your chosen menu, with a collection of well-known and unique wines hand-selected from around the world. Mixologists will craft delicious cocktails and non-alcoholic blends using ingredients foraged from the farm.
We can also provide sensational wines from our sister estate in Provence, Château Léoube, with a selection of rosé, white and red wine varieties available.
Make the most of your time at Daylesford. Our team of in-house experts is on hand to tailor unique experiences for you throughout your visit, from taking part in immersive Cookery School courses and engaging craft workshops, to enjoying relaxing treatments and invigorating classes at the Bamford Wellness Spa.
the building
Using local and reclaimed materials, including larch timber felled from our Wootton estate, the building is deeply rooted in its environment. Every element – from the carefully chosen Cotswold stone, traditional lime plaster and handcrafted wooden door handles – reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and sense of place.
Designed to operate with minimal energy demands, the space is part powered by solar energy generated here on the farm.
Inspired by traditional farm buildings of the Cotswolds, Heritage House is constructed from locally quarried Cotswold stone and finished with traditional, breathable lime plaster.
The larch and oak used throughout the building are sourced from our Wootton Estate in Staffordshire. Naturally rich in resins and oils, the larch used for the feather-edge cladding was chosen for its resilience against the elements. Solid oak logs make up the striking frontage of The Greenhouse bar, selected not only for their longevity, but for their quiet beauty and character.
We believe in repurposing and extending the life of the materials we use to avoid waste of any kind. Reclaimed elm timbers, salvaged from local buildings undergoing renovation, have been carefully restored by our carpenters. In The Dovecote, a former railway platform stone has been expertly carved to create the hearthstone and inglenook seating, ensuring these beautiful materials remain in use for decades to come.
