There is simply no other events venue like it

Built from the ground up, Heritage House takes inspiration from its surroundings, with our picturesque Market Garden and the wild countryside beyond the walls informing the design within.

Every detail is imbued with influences from the Cotswolds landscape, from the locally sourced materials and sustainable building methods to the elegant high ceilings and monumental proportions which honour the setting.

Location

We are a reflection of our landscape

Heritage House sits within the market garden, in the heart of the farm, where traditions are nurtured and knowledge is shared.

Designed to look like a series of agricultural buildings that have grown together organically, each space within Heritage House opens out onto the market garden providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Most of what goes into the kitchen and on to your table has been carefully grown, nurtured or made just yards away.

the ox barn

The largest and most versatile of the three spaces within The Heritage House. Perfect for standing drinks receptions, large-scale banquets and dancefloors for post-dinner celebrations, The Ox Barn can be divided into smaller spaces, allowing for numerous capacity configurations.

the dovecote

Crafted from local Cotswold stone in a traditional high-ceilinged barn style with impressive glass doors opening out to the Market Garden, The Dovecote space is an excellent option for workshops and presentations requiring theatre-style seating.

the greenhouse

A light, airy space situated between The Dovecote and The Ox Barn, leading out to landscaped gardens with stunning views. Ideal for welcoming guests with arrival drinks and refreshments.

FOOD

Finest seasonal produce

Through the ingredients and flowers straight from the farm, our chefs and award winning artisans, and our dedicated team of professionals across hospitality, experiences and holistic wellness, we are committed to treading lightly for you.

With the market garden and organic farmland at the beating heart of what we do, our experienced and creative culinary team will transform the fresh produce grown within walking distance of Heritage House into delicious dishes, inspired by the seasons for your guests to enjoy.

We believe food must be fresh, full of flavour, colour and nutrients, and whatever the occasion, our chefs can create a bespoke menu to suit your needs.

We can provide sensational wines from our sister estate Château Léoube, in Provence, with a selection of rosé, white and red wine varieties available.

Our knowledgeable team can advise on the best wines to pair with your chosen menu, with a collection of well known and unique wines hand-picked from around the world. Delicious cocktails combining ingredients foraged from the market garden will certainly taste as good as they look.

the building

A Way of Life

Heritage House has been led by our surroundings, the beauty of nature and the needs of modern, sustainable living. From the foundations to the rooftops, exemplary architecture and design works intelligently with raw materials from the land.

SUN

Designed from the ground up to need minimal energy, the building is supported by solar power gathered on the farm, during the summer months.

STONE

Inspired by the Cotswold farm buildings that have stood for generations, we’ve built in locally hewn Cotswold stone and finished in traditional, breathable lime plaster.

WOOD

The larch and oak in the building come from our Wootton Estate in Staffordshire. Naturally rich in resins and oil, the larch used for feather-edge cladding can resist the elements for years to come. The mighty oak logs fronting The Greenhouse bar are chosen for their longevity and beauty, a symbol of what can be achieved from small beginnings.

NEW LIFE

We believe in making the most of what nature has given us and avoid waste of any kind. Our carpenters smoothed and fitted reclaimed elm timbers from local buildings undergoing renovation, while stonemasons carved a stone slab from a railway platform for the hearthstone and inglenook seats in The Dovecote, ensuring these beautiful materials remain in use for decades to come.
