The Daylesford Highball Recipe

When the air carries the scent of woodsmoke and the evenings begin to draw in, our Whisky Highball recipe is best enjoyed on crisp autumnal days beside the fire.

Chilled soda lifts the sweetness and gentle spice of our Daylesford x Cotswolds Distillery Virgin Oak Whisky, creating a serve that layers honeycomb, toasted coconut and soft oak.

Ingredients

Ingredients

◆45ml Daylesford x Cotswolds Distillery Virgin Oak Whisky
◆10ml verjus
◆5ml Daylesford honey
◆Top with soda water

Fill a tall glass with a large ice cube or plenty of cubed ice.

Pour in the 45ml of whiskey, 10ml verjus and 5ml of honey.

Stir gently until the honey had dissolved.

Top with soda water and give the drink a final gentle stir.

Serve and enjoy.

For a variation on the classic Highball, try different flavoured soda waters or even ginger beer.
