Ashton Winkler Hughes is a Mexican chef and founder of BashBites, now based in the Cotswolds. She trained at Les Roches in Switzerland, then spent over a decade in Hong Kong, where she opened her first restaurant. She brings bold, authentic Mexican flavours to the UK, grounded in real experience and respect for tradition.
The evening will begin with tamarind Margaritas and canapés before guests are seated on the communal dining table for a Mexican feast.
Cooked over flames on The Barn’s Ox grill, Ashton’s menu blends Mexican tradition with local produce, creating vibrant, honest food that bridges cultures and celebrates real flavour.
Guests will have the opportunity to step up to the grill and speak with Ashton and our chefs behind the scenes.
Ashton will return on Saturday 15th to host brunch in The Barn, expect pickles, guacamole and tortilla chips followed by a choice of Chilaquiles, Huevos rancheros and Molletes, click the link below for the full menu.
