Monday 23rd - Wednesday 25th November
Your two-night stay begins with a kitchen supper in your cottage with produce from our farm. On arrival you will receive a copy of Carole Bamford’s Nurture a seasonal recipe book with notes from Daylesford farm telling the story of how it all began, and a Cotswold’s Gardeners Kit – a practical canvas bag filled with sturdy tools, gardening gloves and seeds to take home.
The following morning, you will join Daylesford’s Restore: Gardening Club, a day dedicated to the garden in Winter. You’ll start with our Head of the Market Garden, Jez Taylor, where he’ll explain how to grow and care for organic and heritage varieties in your garden, followed by a practical workshop and a delicious, seasonal lunch using ingredients grown in our own organic gardens.
After lunch, join our gardening experts for an exclusive tour of our founder, Carole Bamford’s private walled garden – open usually for only one day a year to the public.
In the evening, our Daylesford Defender’s will take you to The Fox in Oddington, where you’ll enjoy dinner at our lively village pub and taste first hand produce from our farm and local suppliers.
This experience is for those inspired by gardens – whether a seasoned gardener or a humble beginner – it is the perfect Cotswold escape immersed in nature.
