Asthall Manor, the childhood home of the Mitford sisters, is more recently famous for its classic English country garden.

Designed and largely planted by Isabel and Julian Bannerman in 1997-98, the garden that surrounds the beautiful Jacobean manor house has been exquisitely restored by Asthall’ s current owner Rosie Pearson.

From Thursday 13th June to Saturday the 13th July, the gardens will be open to explore.

Discover the intriguing woodlands, and wildflower meadows and meander along the secret gravel pathways to a hidden lake. The Asthall Manor team will be hosting a series of special events during the open days.

No booking is required, The Asthall team will be working with four charities, and entry will be by a donation of your choice. For directions and more information click here.
