Food & Drink

The team will be serving our delicious new garden menu, including our much-loved stone-baked pizzas. The garden bar will be open, enjoy refreshing spritzes and Tequila cocktails by the jug alongside your favourite beers.

Our friends from our sister estate Château Léoube in Provence will be hosting their travelling pop-up bar under the shade of our orchard trees, tasting you through their range of delicious organic wines.

And for pudding, an ice-cream stand will provide a cooling pitstop.

Live Music

We will be joined by the Charlbury Morris Dancers and local country blues and roots songwriter and musician Barney Newman will be performing.

Family Activities

Our enormous garden rolls down to a bank with a trickling stream, a perfect spot to linger and while away the long weekend. We’ve got traditional country games, face painting and flower crown making for the little ones.

Competitions

Competitive spirits can Guess The Weight of The Bell, creative types try their hand at our Summer Hat Competition and the green-fingered can enter your Best Vegetable Show with prizes including a Daylesford Organic hamper and a Pizza Night for two at The Bell to be won.

To enter, please bring your entries to The Barn between 12pm – 1pm on Sunday 25th May.

The winners will be announced in The Barn at 2pm, followed by prize giving.

Best Vegetable Show Categories

6 stems of evenly sized Rhubarb

Judged on quality of colour, length, evenness of stems amd freshness

Jam jar of garden or foraged flowers

Judged on diversity, quality of bloom, and artistry of arrangements. No more than 30 stems per jam jar

Radish

13 succulent, evenly sized radish, presented bunched or arranged on a plate

Bouquet Garni

A selection of garden herbs that you would use for cooking, judged on diversity, quality, and overall presentation
